Photoshoot Directing & Editing

Screen recording of the Illuminate collection website featuring the photoshoot I directed.

Photoshoot Directing

Created the concept and spearheaded art direction for Maya Jewelry’s inaugural genuine stone collection. Led the photoshoot from initial concepts to publication, including sourcing talent (photographer, models, piercer, makeup artists), arranging travel, securing the photoshoot venue, selecting outfits, planning the shot list (minimum of 3 images per design), coordinating scheduling, negotiating rates, supervising the team, curating images, editing, and launching the final campaign.

A new collection campaign was launched across the website (header, categories, products), catalogue, newsletter, social media, and ads, resulting in increased engagement and higher conversion rates thanks to captivating and on-trend bright colors, and customer’s ability to see the pieces worn.

Photo Editing

Image editing approach: highly polished, editorial vibes, emphasizing the vibrant, natural gemstones featured in the collection.

Overcame the makeup artist’s oversight to deliver agreed-upon looks on time, minimized the shot list, simplified the look, and corrected errors (makeup in wig, mismatched eyeliner, and concealed tattoos) in post. Negotiated a price reduction due to unmet contract expectations.
